Our Journal’s Progress – Indexing! The most important event that we would like to inform you about concerns the journal itself. In July 2009, our journal received confirmation that it will be listed in the metadatabank MEDLINE and, thus, also in PubMed. Retroactive to issue 01/2009, the articles have already been placed in the databank, so that they can be found via author and key word searches in PubMed. Thereby, the likelihood that these articles are followed internationally and are cited rises dramatically. The Editorial Board and Publisher view indexing as a great success and acknowledgment of the quality of the journal and the work published therein. Hereby, we would like to thank the authors and hope that they will publish even more often in Clinical Neuroradiology. The editors would also like to thank the Publisher for the excellent support and assistance over the past few years. Without this excellent support, the success would not have been possible. We hope now that articles published in Clinical Neuroradiology will also be diligently cited, because they can be found more easily. In addition, the attractiveness to authors outside the countries of the three associations which use Clinical Neuroradiology as their official journal should significantly increase. We will also do everything to maintain the high quality of the journal in the future. Thereby, we would like to ask for continued support and diligent publishing. We are also pleased that Clinical Neuroradiology, as in this issue, can offer a platform for interdisciplinary discussions. The question of random findings in scientific proband studies is discussed with vehemence from various aspects and from different viewpoints. This also illustrates the attention won by Clinical Neuroradiology from other areas. In the future, we would also like to offer the possibility for scientific argumentation and discussion of unresolved or even controversially discussed topics. With our journal, we would like to continue to internationally represent the ever growing number of clinical and academic neuroradiologists. The first step has been taken.
