On Our Own Behalf

We are now awarding the prize for the best original paper published in a given volume of the journal Clinical Neuroradiology for the third time, whereby we asked our readers to choose their favorite of the nine original works published in 2008.

The prize aims to express our appreciation of neuroresearch, in general, and neuroradiology, in particular, and to promote the journal Clinical Neuroradiology.

We have observed with pleasure that the number of unsolicited manuscript submissions has continued to rise so that we will be offering you many interesting papers in Volume 19 of Clinical Neuroradiology and we will also have as many potential prize winners.

We are pleased to announce the title of the winning paper: “Vascular Dynamics of Cerebral Gliomas Investigated with Selective Catheter Angiography, Perfusion CT and MRI.“ This study received the majority of votes (25%).

We congratulate Roland Wiest et al. on the prize
“Best original paper in Clinical Neuroradiology in 2008”

We will announce this award again in 2009 and therefore encourage you to keep submitting original articles for publication in Clinical Neuroradiology. There are no restrictions of age, discipline or nationality to receiving the prize.

We would like to thank all authors who submitted papers to Clinical Neuroradiology in 2008, and would be happy if they would do so again in 2009. Moreover, we thank all those who cast their vote for this prize.

In future, we would like to continue publishing excellent scientific papers in Clinical Neuroradiology and make this journal even more attractive to those working in neuroradiology and related fields.
